PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein a transplanter whose vehicle body is driven to plant seedlings and is often operated in green houses, and tends to be affected by exhaust gas, noises, and the like, in a form motorized with an engine as a conventional transplanter, and is poor in operability and has difficulty in workability, due to the enlargement of the vehicle body. SOLUTION: This simple transplanter is such that it is constituted by lowering a seedling-planting bill 2, relative to a vehicle body frame 3, by the operation of a planting handle 1 and make it conduct seedling planting, and by pressing the surface of seedling-planted soil with a pressable press wheel 4. When the vehicle body frame 3 is driven intermittently and then stopped; and when an operator pushes down a planting handle 2, the seedling-fed seedling-planting bill 2 is lowered to form a planting hole to a prescribed depth in the surface of the soil, as well as, the plant is planted in the planting hole. Immediately after this seedling planting operation, the press wheel 4 is pressed by the operation of the planting handle 1 and the surface of the soil is pressed against the outside of the planting hole so that the planting hole is buried and the attitude of the planted seedling is supported in a stable manner.
