PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soldering strength to an external electrode from decreasing in a lamination type piezoelectric transformer. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric transformer 100, a piezoelectric ceramics 102, and a primary-side internal electrode 104 and a secondary-side internal electrode 106 are overlapped alternately to form a laminate 101, and a primary-side external electrode 108 and a secondary-side external electrode 110 are formed on the outer surface of the laminate 101. In the piezoelectric transformer 100, the secondary-side internal electrode 106 is not exposed to the outer surface of the laminate 101 and is not in contact with the secondary-side external electrode 110, and is electrically connected to the secondary-side external electrode 110 through the polarization treatment of the piezoelectric ceramics 102 in a gap C.
