PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to recognize the existence of contents information provided around the location of one's own vehicle in a navigation apparatus. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 2 stores stored information including information indicating an event occurrence location received from roadside wireless devices 11 to 1n and information indicating an information providing location in a contents information storage section 251, and when the stored information in which the event occurrence location is within a predetermined range of a guide route is stored in the contents information storage section 251, displays an icon indicating the event occurrence location on a map screen.
