PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for the optimum parking lot that is optimum for parking. SOLUTION: The parking lot search system includes a destination setting processing means for setting a destination, a parking lot extraction processing means for extracting parking lots around the destination, a total cost calculation processing means for calculating the total costs on the basis of a cost outside the parking lot from the destination to each parking lot and a cost in the parking lot about each parking position in the parking lot, and a parking lot setting processing means for setting the parking lot with the minimum total costs as the searched parking lot. Because the total costs are calculated on the basis of the cost outside the parking lot from the destination to each parking lot and the cost in the parking lot about each parking position in the parking lot and the parking lot with the minimum total costs is set as the searched parking lot, the search for the parking lot that is optimum for the parking can be performed.
