PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type engine power working machine that enables an operator to operate an operation lever with one hand in the full range of throttle opening degrees. SOLUTION: A portable type engine power working machine includes an engine serving as a drive source, a throttle device for controlling rotational speeds of the engine, a trigger 9 for operating a throttle wire extending from the throttle device, an operation lever 11 provided with an engagement unit for engaging with the trigger 9 and an operation unit to be rotary operated with fingers, and a grip 7 for rotatably holding the operation lever 11 and the trigger 9. On the operation lever 11, there are provided an operation unit 11B to be used when rotating towards a throttle full open and an operation unit 11B to be used when rotating towards a throttle full closed.
