PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply cooling system capable of reducing apparatus operating cost and of being easily maintained and managed by enabling water to be supplied to a predetermined height and to be cooled without using electric power in a simple apparatus constitution. SOLUTION: The water supply cooling system 10 has a water passage which passes a porous body 13 located at a position higher than a water supply part 11 for supplying water with a predetermined height in a way to be in contact with the porous body 13 and is extended to a water drain port 12 a located at a position lower than the water supply part. The water passage is provided with a water supply pipe 14 for filling water into a passage from the water supply part to the water drain port, an air reliase pipe 15, and opening/closing valves 16, 17, 18. The porous body has fine pores which prevent air intrusion under atmospheric pressure and allows the outflow of vavor or water, and the surrounding of the porous body is cooled by the outflow of the vapor or the water from the fine pores of the porous body.
