The invention relates to a photovoltaic roof cover that comprises an assembly of several members in the form of tiles, shingles or panels electrically connected together, at least a portion of said members being covered by the neighbouring members in the assembly and a portion or part being exposed to the outside, wherein said members include a substrate material having an inner face and an outer face, a photovoltaic layer provided at least on the portion of the outer face of the substrate material exposed to the outside in the assembly, electrically conducting means provided on either side of said photovoltaic layer and adapted for collecting the electric current generated by said layer when it is exposed to the light, said means particularly including a first connector connected to an electric pole of the photovoltaic layer and a second connector connected to another electric pole of the photovoltaic layer, said cover being characterised in that at least one of the connectors present on at least one of said members includes, is made of or is integrated to a foldable mobile tab or strip, and in that said tab or strip is maintained in electric contact within the assembly with a connector of the previous member of said assembly and in a folded position between two successive members.
