<p>The invention relates to a process for preparing highly pure hydrazine used in organic and inorganic syntheses, and also as energy source for spaceships, and to an installation for applying said process. According to the invention, said process consists in thermal decomposition of the ammonia in continuous flow at a temperature ranging from 750 to 800A C and a flow rate of 0.0336 ... 0.036 m3/h, followed by the condensation of the resulting hydrazine at a temperature of -1 ... +1A C, the unreacted ammonia being reintroduced into the circuit. According to the invention, the installation comprises a quartz reactor (1), an electrically heated furnace (2), a thermocouple (3), a flowmeter (4), a pressure reducing valve (5), a liquid ammonia cylinder (6), vessels (7) for drying with silica gel, a thermal controller (8) and, a temperature switch, a U-shaped condensing vessel.</p> |
