SHOT-PEENING REFLECTION MEMBER, AND SHOT-PEENING METHOD USING THE MEMBER

This aims to provide a reflection member (10) having a flexibility against shocks from a shot. The reflection member (10) can be brought, when inserted into the hole of a curved portion (P) of a work (W), into abutment against the inner face of the hole of the curved portion (P) with an offset to the outer side. The reflection member (10) can be smoothly deformed, when it is to be arranged, by its flexibility toward the outer side of the inner face of the hole of the curved portion (P). The movement may also be made by the shock of the shot to a reflection face (11). The reflection face (11) is inclined at an angle (T) from the normal direction of the curved portion toward the inner side of the inner face of the hole of the work (W), so that the shot, which might otherwise be easily tilted in a shot-peening by a centrifugal force toward the outer side of the inner face of the hole of the curved portion, can be reflected by the reflecting face (11) to the inner side of the inner face of the hole of the curved portion. As a result, the occurrence of the irregularity in a treated state of the surface can be prevented by controlling the flow of the shot to a desired state.
