A screw for loading and unloading coal is provided to prevent abrasion of a screw blade due to the contact between the screw blade and coal and lengthen lifetime of the screw by forming a high hardness member at the site in which the abrasion of the screw blade is generated. A screw for loading and unloading coal comprises: a screw blade(10) spirally coupled in the outer circumference of a main shaft(120) rotated in the inside of the screw case; and a high hardness member(20) which is coupled in the leading end of the screw blade and prevents the abrasion of the screw blade. The high hardness member is made of the material sintered by mixing binder metal for sintering with carbides, nitrides, borides and ceramics.
