A linear compressor is provided to minimize temperature rise of a coil due to the mutual electromagnetic force of an inner stator and an outer stator and prevent the deformation of a linear motor due to temperature change by forming a cooling space in the outer circumference of a coil-wound element. A linear compressor comprises a stator fixed to the outside of a cylinder. The stator has a cooling space(222) connected with an oil circulation flow path of a frame in order to circulate oil for cooling. The stator is an outer stator including a coil-wound(221) in which coil is wound inside a bobbin and core blocks(223) assembled in the outer circumference of the coil-wound element. The cooling space is equipped inside the outer circumference of the bobbin.
