METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DIAMOND-CONTAINING WHEEL USING THERMAL SPRAY COATING

A manufacturing method of a diamond tool using a thermal spray coating is provided to distribute uniformly diamond particle without quality deviation and to suppress carbonization of diamond. A manufacturing method of a diamond tool using a thermal spray coating comprises a step of thermal spray-coating diamond particle and bond-metal particle at substrate. The diamond particle in which a metallic foil is coated is used as the diamond particle. The metallic foil has melting temperature higher than melting temperature of a bond-metal. The metallic foil is selected from nickel, titanium and cobalt. A thickness of the metallic foil is 1~20mum. A size of the diamond particle is 15~30mum.
