Combination of rosiglitazone and donepezil for improvement of cognitive function

The invention provides a method for improving cognitive function of subject that is suffered from or easy to suffer from MCI, Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. The subject is not an APOE4 allele homozygote. The method comprises steps as follows: (i) screening subjects so as to determine they are not APOE4 allele homozygotes; then (ii) administrating to the subjects with safe and effective PPAR-gamma agonist.
