<p>The device has a near-field wireless communication module (160) comprising an input device (170) e.g. mechanical or touch-sensitive keypad, for entering data linked to characters, monetary or other amount and/or commands. The input device enters an amount and a command to accept a transfer, and a cryptographic unit authenticates an acceptance command. A transmission unit transmits a secure message including data to a creditor via the module when the acceptance command is authenticated. A secure storage unit stores a reference of an account to be debited or a reference of a debtor. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmitting a monetary or other amount between a creditor and a debtor.</p> |
