A planar antenna for terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting is provided to obtain omnidirectivity regardless of an installation condition by including a radiation element with the meander shape. A dielectric substrate(201) has a predetermined dielectric constant. A radiation element(202) is formed in the front side and the rear side of the dielectric substrate respectively. The radiation element has the electrical length of 1/4 wavelength. A feeder(204) is formed in the front side and the rear side of the dielectric substrate. The feeder transmits the terrestrial digital multimedia receiving signal to the radiation element. A balun(205) is positioned between the radiation element and the feeder. A feeding unit(203) connects a cable(206) to an end of the feeder. The antenna(200) is connected to the DMB receiver through the cable and the connector. The housing surrounds the dielectric substrate.
