An outlet valve of a linear compressor is provided to reduce the weight while ensuring the strength by coating plastic material of high strength on the metal body having relatively light weight but less strength. An outlet valve(620) of a linear compressor is supported axially by an outlet valve spring and opens/closes the compression space formed between a cylinder and a piston. The outlet valve comprises a body of metal material, a plastic coating layer wrapping the body, a central part(621) in which the outlet valve spring is settled, an extension part(622) in which the thickness is uniformly expanded in the radial direction of the central part and a plurality of reinforcing ribs(622a) are formed, and a rim(623) which is formed with uniform thickness in the circumferential direction of the extension part.
