A METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING DISEASE USING ADENOVIRUS HARBORING TRANS-SPLICING RIBOZYME BY MOLECULAR IMAGING

A molecule imaging diagnosis method is provided to produce expression images of disease-related genes at an expression spot using trans-splicing ribozyme, thereby diagnosing diseases in an early stage. A molecule imaging composition contains a trans-splicing ribozyme vector. The ribozyme vector represents adenovirus vector. A molecule imaging diagnosis method comprises the following steps of: cloning an image reporter gene and ribozyme which targets a specific gene; injecting the cloned ribozyme to a vector to be expressed; and isolating vector confirmed whether the ribozyme is expressed. The ribozyme is connected to a luciferase(luc) gene. The ribozyme targets CKAP2(cytoskeleton-associated protein 2).
