A system and a method for providing electronic program guide classified by a user interface are provided to increase a user satisfaction and convenience by allowing to customize a user interface depending on a user preference. An authentication management server(330) authenticates about a user connected to a web server(320) whether it is the authorized user or not. According to the set condition, a discrete EPG management server(350) produces the discrete EPG information according to the user preference. The discrete EPG management server stores and manages the generated discrete EPG information as described above in the discrete UI(User Interface) related information database(380). An integrated EPG database(370) stores an integrated EPG information including the discrete EPG information. An EPG providing server(340) discriminates and provides the discrete EPG information which is delivered through the discrete EPG management server and the common EPG information stored in the integration EPG database.
