The devices (10) are used for supporting a trailer of an articulated lorry when the drivers cabin is removed. An inner pipe (14) can be moved with a spindle drive inside an outer pipe (13) attached with a lateral plate (15) to the frame of the trailer. The pair is joined with a connecting shaft. A first set of bevel gears is used for a slow motion of the supports (10), a second for a quick motion. The crown wheels of both sets are provided with downwards pointing teeth. |
