An air bag operating control system is provided to determine the head-on collision by using a difference of a pressure value generated by a pressure sensor of the front and rear side. An air bag operating control system comprises: a first and second pressure sensors(20,30) sensing the pressure generated by passengers; and a vehicle seat(11) mounted on the front or back part. The air bag operating control system controls the operation of airbag by reflecting the difference of a pressure value which the first and the second pressure sensor detect. If the pressure value which the first pressure sensor perceives is lower the pressure value which the second pressure sensor does, the airbag does not operate.
