The tongue (2) has recesses (16) that are etched such that an end region (4) on both sides includes a contact layer and the etched recess. The recesses extend through the contact layer to a tongue body (2a). The recesses viewed in a projection and lying opposite to each other on a broadside are overlapped on a portion (16c), where the projection is aligned perpendicular to a contact surface. The recesses are displaceably arranged relative to each other along a longitudinal direction and/or a transverse direction of the tongue. The contact layer is formed of a thin film. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing electric dual-contact tongue (2) an electric high frequency-switching device with a contact tongue.
