A speed control unit for electro-driven hoist is provided to maintain the speed of the motor regularly and to guide the location of the driven object appropriately by using the low-speed control volume. A velocity control unit for electro-driven hoist comprises an ascent button(12) which lifts up a driven object; a descent button(16) which lifts down the driven object; a speed control unit(10) which is connected to the electric motor and controls the speed of the electric motor, and controls the forward and reverse rotation of the electric motor when the ascent button and descent button are inputted; a high speed setting resistor(20) which is connected to the input terminal of the speed control unit; a low speed setting resistor(22) which is connected to the high speed setting resistor; and a low speed control volume(24) which manipulates the speed of the electric motor in the low speed zone manually.
