A fungicidally active compound of the formula: wherein Q is -NY-NH-,-N=N- or, X is oxygen, sulfur, sulfoxide, or sulfone; n is 0 or 1; Y is hydrogen, C-Calkanoyl, C-Chaloalkanoyl, C-Cstraight chain or branched alkoxycarbonyl, C-Calkoxy(C-C) alkoxycarbonyl, C-Calkyl, or C-Chaloalkyl; Ris C-Calkoxy, C-Cbranched alkoxy, C-Ccycloalkoxy, phenoxy, benzyloxy, C-Calkenyloxy, C-Calkynyloxy, C-Chaloalkoxy, silyloxy, (C-Calkoxy)-carbonylmethoxy, C-Cthioalkoxy, C-Calkylamino, C-Calkyl, C-Cbranched alkyl, (C-Calkoxy) C-Calkoxy, or (C-Calkoxy)carbonyl; Rand Rare each, independently, hydrogen, halogen, C-Calkyl, C-Cbranched alkyl, C-Chaloalkyl, C-Calkoxy, C-Chaloalkoxy, cyano, or (C-Calkoxy) carbonyl; Ris C-Calkyl; and Zand Zare each independently, carbon or nitrogen with the proviso that when Zis carbon, X is oxygen, and Ris hydrogen, then Rcannot be hydrogen; wherein Ris C-Calkoxy; an Rand Rare, independently halo or C-Chaloalkyl, or wherein Ris C-Calkyl; andand Rindependently, are halo or C-Chaloalkyl, and a method for controlling fungi using the compound.
