A channel allocation method using power controlled CTS in multi-hop networks is provided to increase the reuse rate of communication space by reducing the communication area that a transmission end and a reception end occupy by adjusting the transmission power of a CTS frame and fixing data transmission power. An STA(station) 1 is receives a TXOP(Transmission Opportunity) by exchanging RTS-CTS(Request-to-send/Clear-to-send) with a STA 2. The STA 2 transmits a power-controlled CTS. A STA 3 is unable to receive CTS even through the STA is controlled from the STA 2. By re-using the communication space, the STA 3 transmits RTS by itself. A STA 4 responds to the STA 3 with the CTS. |
