<p>A fuel cell system and a fuel amount judgment method are provided to sense the burnout of the cartridge in advance at a cheap manufacturing cost, and to prevent the damage of the fuel battery film-electrode assembly. A fuel cell system(100) comprises a fuel cartridge(180) storing the fuel; a fuel cell stack(130) producing power through the electric chemistry reaction of oxygen and fuel; a fuel pump(118) for inhaling the fuel stored in the fuel cartridge; a pressure sensor(116) positioned at the joint of the fuel cartridge and fuel inflow furnace(114) between fuel pumps; a fuel amount determining unit(142) for determining the point of time when the burnout of the cartridge from the pressure gradient of the pressure sensor is near.</p> |
