A method for preparing instant scorched rice is provided to enable a consumer to eat the instant scorched rice as meal substitute. A method for preparing instant scorched rice comprises the following steps of: washing rice and swelling the washed rice in water; heating the swollen rice to become hard-boiled rice; spraying a nutrient diluted solution to the hard-boiled rice; hot-air drying the rice mixed with the nutrient at a temperature range of 65~75°C for 5~10 hours; frying the dried rice with nutrient at a high temperature and high pressure; and inputting the fried rice in a pressing roller equipped with a heating unit in order to mold the fried rice. The nutrient diluted solution contains 40~80wt% of calcium, 5~30wt% of iron and 5~30wt% of glucosamine.
