A method and an apparatus for reducing waste activated sludge and improving anaerobic digestion efficiency are provided to decrease a generation rate of carbon dioxide by increasing a generation rate of methane gas and decreasing a generation rate of initial sludge. An apparatus for reducing waste activated sludge and improving anaerobic digestion efficiency includes a settling tank(10), a biological treatment tank(50), a mixed sludge storage tank(60), a digestion tank(70), a steam jacket(23), a highly active ionization gas generator(30), a high voltage underwater discharger(40), a desulfurization tank(80), a gas storage tank(90), a power generator(100), and a boiler(110). The settling tank precipitates harmful materials in sewage. The steam jacket is installed in a sludge transfer pipe(22) of a double pipe type. |
