CATALYTIC FOR STEAM REFORMING OF TAR PRODUCED FROM BIOMASS GASIFICATION PROCESS AND METHOD OF STEAM REFORMING OF TAR USING THE SAME

A catalyst for reforming steam of tar and a method for steam reforming of tar using the same are provided to increase reaction, stability and hydrogen production in a steam reforming reaction of the tar. A method for steam reforming of tar comprises the following steps of: preparing an reactor including a support including cerium oxide and zirconium oxide, and nickel supported into the support; producing a mixture by mixing steam with tar generated in a biomass gasification process; and disassembling the tar under presence of a catalyst. The supporter contains 25 ~ 75 weight% of the cerium oxide and the catalyst includes 5 ~ 15 weight% of the nickel.
