PROTEIN MARKER RELATED WITH THE CW FOR IMPROVING ECONOMIC TRAITS OF HANWOO

A protein marker related to sirloin of Hanwoo(Korean native cattle) having high breeding value is provided to select Hanwoo having excellent economic character and predict genetic potential of the Hanwoo in an early growth stage or embryo stage with low costs. A protein marker related to sirloin of Hanwoo(Korean native cattle) having high breeding value comprises proteins which is well-expressed in sirloin with high breeding estimation value related to CW rather than the sirloin with low breeding estimation value. The protein marker represents Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase containing SEQ ID:1,2 and 3 of trypsin decomposed peptide with molecular weight of 35-37kDa and 8.3-8.7 of pI. A diagnostic agent includes an antibody specifically coupled with immunogen fragment or the biomarker proteins.
