AN IMPROVED PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF AMORPHOUS RABEPRAZOLE SODIUM

A process for preparing amorphous rabeprazole sodium is provided to facilitate production and the removal of residual solvent and to obtain amorphous rabeprazole sodium having the uniform particle size. An amorphous rabeprazole sodium is prepared by precipitating rabeprazole sodium salt of the chemical formula 1 in ester solvent selected from methyl acetate, ethylacetate and isopropyl acetate and alkane solvent selected from n-pentane and n-heptane, in which the carbon number is the odd number.
