<p>A cutting tool includes a cutting insert and a toolholder including at least one insert supporting surface. A first clamp is adapted to apply a clamping force in a first direction to clamp the insert to the insert supporting surface, and a second clamp is adapted to limit rotation of the insert about an axis extending substantially in the first direction. The toolholder includes a second insert supporting surface. The second clamp applies a clamping force to the insert in a second direction to clamp the insert to the second insert supporting surface, and the second insert supporting surface is disposed on an opposite side of the insert from the second clamp.</p> |
