The tank for household appliances such as coffee dispensers, drinking water dispensers, and cooking and baking devices, comprises a suction connector provided at the tank for suctioning of water from tank using means for generating low pressure, a filter connector for the connection of a filter cartridge at and/or in the interior of the tank, a sealing surface (24) for a filter side axial sealing, an opening with coding structure for introducing a filter side key element in tank base (29), and mechanical coding structures intended at the filter connector element. The tank for household appliances such as coffee dispensers, drinking water dispensers, and cooking and baking devices, comprises a suction connector provided at the tank for suctioning of water from tank using means for generating low pressure, a filter connector for the connection of a filter cartridge at and/or in the interior of the tank, a sealing surface (24) for a filter side axial sealing, an opening with coding structure for introducing a filter side key element in tank base (29), and mechanical coding structures intended at the filter connector element to exclude the use of any filter cartridge not corresponding with the tank. The filter connector is intended with a protrusion and/or recesses comprising the coding structures. The filter connector of the water tank and a connection nozzle of the filter cartridge partially enclose with one another. The coding structures extend in axial and/or radial direction in relation to the axis of the connection nozzle and are partially formed as fixing elements for fastening of the filter cartridge. The coding structures form bayonet lock. The encoding is intended through the amount and/or spatial distribution and/or form of single coding elements of the coding structure. The bayonet lock is intended diagonally to the axis of the filter connector element and at the filter connector element of the tank and or at the tank connection element of the filter cartridge. The coding structure is intended at the circumference of the tank-sided filter connector element. A structure with non round circumference is intended at the tank sided filter connector element. An outer and/or inner peripheral surface is intended as sealing surface at the filter connector element. An axial coding sealing surface and a radial coding sealing surface are intended at the filter sided filter connector element. The filter connector element has an outer and/or inner circumference surface with polygon-shaped outline, an outer and/or inner circumference form rotationally symmetric cross-section. The filter lateral tank connector element is formed as coding structure and as form sealing with corresponding polygon outline. The coding structure is arranged outside of the filter cartridge. A catch mechanism is intended between the filter cartridge and the tank sided filter connector element. A clipping adjustment for filtered liquid is intended with unfiltered and/or other filtered or processed liquid. The filter cartridge has a driving element for actuating a tank side clipping adjustment. A sealing with a coding structure is intended between the tank side filter connector element and the filter sided tank connector element. A clipping device is intended for controlling several filter sections via a bayonet outline. An adapter for the connection of the filter cartridge is intended at the tank side filter connector element. Independent claims are included for: (1) household appliances or devices for the processing of food and/or beverages, such as coffee dispensers, drinking water dispensers, cooking and baking devices, steam cleaners, high-pressure cleaners, air pressure cleaners and conditioners; and (2) a filter cartridge.
