<p>The device has a transport cart (1) with a support (3), and an anti-tipping device (4) protruding over the support. The anti-tipping device is turned towards a front side (5) of a web roll (2) if the web roll lies on the support. The anti-tipping device is arranged on the transport cart in a fixed or axially adjustable manner, and is an angle piece. The anti-tipping device comprises a looming bracket and another bracket, which is axially pointed towards an angle.
