A sensing apparatus and connector arrangement 1 comprises a sensor head 2 for sensing a parameter and providing an output sensor signal related to the sensed parameter; a sensor body 3 connected to the sensor head, the sensor body comprising an output port 12 arranged in a sensor body face and a signal processing means 6, the signal processing means being adapted to receive the output sensor signal, convert it to an output signal and provide it to the output port; and, a connector 15 for connection to the output port; characterised in that the connectors is adapted to push fit into engagement with the output port. Pulling collar 16 away from the rear face 11 of the connector body 3 disengages connector 15 from output port 12. The apparatus allows insertion of the sensing apparatus into deep blind holes. |
