A system for processing alternative payment of an IC chip of a mobile phone is provided to process payment by using the second payment unit in association with a storage medium associatedly processed by the first payment unit when payment is not allowed by the first payment unit. A payment terminal(105) includes the fist payment unit. The payment terminal receives and extracts information of the first payment unit of an IC chip from a client wireless terminal(100) with the IC chip. The payment terminal produces a predetermined payment approval request statement in which information of the first payment unit is included. The payment terminal transfers the predetermined payment approval request statement to the first payment server(110). The payment server determines whether payment is approved through the first payment unit based on information of the first payment unit. When approval through the first payment unit is impossible, the payment server transfers the information of the first payment unit and the payment approval request statement to the second server or device(120).
