A liquid crystal display for preventing after image due to the solvent flowed into the liquid crystal layer from under-layer or spot defect is provided to offer an overcoat and improve shock resistance when maintaining the high cross linked density. A second substrate is arranged on a first substrate. An under-layer is formed on the second substrate. An overcoat(340) protects under-layer. The overcoat is made of the material including rubber. The rubber is liquid, solid or core shell type. The progress of the crack is suppressed by the rubber even though there is crack. |
