A transmission of a driving vehicle is provided to make the transmission compact forward and backward by arranging an auxiliary speed change device on the space in which a main speed change device is arranged. A transmission(1) of a driving vehicle comprises: a propelling shaft(3) connected to an engine(2); a high-to-low speed change device(4) installed at the propelling shaft; a counter shaft(5) in which output is delivered from a high-to-low speed change device; a forward and backward motion switching device(6) installed at the counter shaft; a speed change shaft(7) delivering counterrotating power from the counter shaft; a driven shaft(9) which is installed on the extend line of the propelling shaft; and a main speed change device(8) having a driving gear group installed at the speed change shaft and a driven gear group installed at the driven shaft.
