The separation of a mixture of solid and liquid wastes is carried out by placing the waste in a receptacle with a filter or grid at the base of the receptacle. Liquid from the mixed waste falls into, and is stored in, a second receptacle under the first. The second receptacle is tapped such that the liquid can be reused, such as by a road sweeper vehicle. |
