The device has a receiving unit receiving an electrical signal, where the signal comprises data and supply signal components with respective high and low frequencies. An impedance adapting unit (53) has a passive component e.g. capacitor, to adapt impedance in frequency band of the data signal component. The adapting unit is determined according to characteristic of ground, phase and neutral conductors of an electrical network. High-pass filters are respectively arranged in upstream and downstream of the adapting unit, where cut-off frequency of the filters is between high and low frequencies.
