MAGNETIC RECORDING HEAD COMPRISING CONIC MAIN POLE TIP AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A magnetic recording head comprising a conic main pole tip and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve elimination property of a magnetic recording head by horizontally forming a magnetic domain of a vertical part of the main pole. A magnetic recording head comprising a conic main pole tip comprise a main pole(610), a return yoke and a coil(620) on a substrate. The main pole comprise: a vertical part(614) which is at a right angle to the substrate; a horizontal part(613) connecting the lower part of the vertical part and a return yoke; and a main pole tip(612) on the vertical part. The main pole tip has a cone-shape at a right angle to the substrate.
