<p>Reservation information is acquired (S1), it is determined whether or not there is any connection destination device (HDMI, recording/reproducing device) for a connection source device (television) (S2), and when there is no connection destination device, a warning that there is no connection device is displayed on a display device in the connection source device side (S3). Reservation registration is stored in a memory 18 in the connection source device side (S4). The above described operation is repeated until a reservation start time point. When a reservation start state starts (S5), it is confirmed again whether there is any connection device (S6), and when there is the connection device, a state of a power supply of a recording/reproducing device to be a reservation target is checked (S7). When the power supply is off, the power supply of the recording/reproducing device to be the reservation target is requested to be turned on by communication (S8), and the recording/reproducing device to be the reservation target is requested to select channel (S9). Next, it is determined whether or not the channel selection is successful (S10). By reservation information being managed in the connection source device side, reservation can be made without transferring the reservation information to the storing/reproducing device every time reservation is made.</p> |
