The method involves broadcasting an inquiry message (M4) by a multimedia resource function controller (7a) through a peer-to-peer network (7) formed by a network equipment, and selecting one pair among pairs having a respond positively to the message by the controller. A control message (M6) is sent by the controller to a selected multimedia resource function processor (7b) for controlling an establishment of a communication link between the processor and a recipient system. A coded content is transmitted by the processor through the communication link according to one of the coding formats.
