A door opening and closing stabilizing device and a method thereof are provided to open a door completely or stop a door in case abnormal load is generated in opening and closing the door by calculating opening and closing speed based on door translation distance and motor rotation. A door opening and closing stabilizing device comprises: a switch(10) including switches for setting up the closed location position and the open position of a door(60); a door opening and closing unit(30) rotating a motor according to door opening and closing speed and opening and closing the door; a door movement sensing unit(40) sensing abnormal load generated in opening and closing the door; and a controller(20) completely opening the door or stopping the door in case of the abnormal load. |
