POST-FOAMING CLEANSING COMPOSITION

A post-foaming cleansing composition comprises at least one anionic surfactant, at least one non-ionic gelling agent and at least one post-foaming agent. The ratio of anionic surfactant: non-ionic gelling agent is 4:1 or greater such that during manufacture, at least 4 minutes after the addition of the post-foaming agent to the remainder of the composition a gel structure is formed. The gel structure is retained for at least 12 months following manufacture when stored at 20 DEG C to 25 DEG C or below.
