A variable center type quartz sleeve cleaning apparatus and a uv sterilizer for a waterway having the same are provided to clean the quartz sleeve regardless of center deflection of the quartz sleeve and a wiper ring automatically and cleanly. A variable center type quartz sleeve cleaning apparatus(10) washing a surface of a quartz sleeve(6) protecting a uv lamp in an underwater UV sterilizer includes a wiper ring(11), a guide(16), and an actuator(17). The wiper ring comprises an outer ring(12), an inner ring(14) and a soft cleaning ring(15). The outer ring includes an assembly groove and an inner diameter bigger than an outer diameter of the quartz sleeve. A cleaning in adhered to outer circumference of the quartz sleeve and installed on inner circumference of the inner ring. The actuator moves the wiper ring to a predetermined stroke. |
