The device consists of a connector part (2) with a plug section (8) for media-tight plugging into a complementary plugging section of the counter piece, at least one radial elastic spring arm (12) for latching to the counter piece in the assembled position and a securing element. The securing element is fixed by the latching arrangement in its initial position and the latching arrangement is designed so that a closure force for moving the securing element out of its initial position into the securing position is smaller than an opening force for moving it in the opposite direction.
