A shock absorber for improving the control stability and the ride comfort is provided to change the damping force according to the movement of a piston rod. A shock absorber(50) comprises: a hollow-chamber(60) formed inside of a piston rod; a first and second orifices(56a,56b) formed in the up and down end of hollow-chamber; a floating piston(62) partitioning off the hollow-chamber into an upper chamber(60a) and a lower chamber(60b); a bypass channel formed in the central part of hollow-chamber; and an upper and lower spring(69a,69b) installed in the upper chamber and lower chamber.
