A basket ball returning device for returning a basketball to a basket ball player after the ball has passed through a basketball hoop. Preferably the returning device is frusto-conical in shape and formed from a number of rings of diminishing size that are joined together with strong flexible material, that allow the returning device to be easily folded and stowed away. During use the wider end of the basketball returning device is supported by stands and placed underneath the basketball hoop with the narrower end of the receiver positioned to allow the ball to be directed towards the player's feet. Preferably the narrower end of the basketball returning device is weighted. A back fence (fig 3) may be attached to the basketball returning device to catch balls that are thrown sideways. |
