A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to simplify a process of forming an align key for preventing the miss-align between two substrates. The first mother substrate(100) is defined by a plurality of cells. The first align key(160) is formed at an edge of the first mother substrate. A driving array part and a color filter array part are formed in each cell of the first mother substrate. A pixel electrode is electrically connected with a thin film transistor of the driving array part. The second mother substrate(200) corresponding to the first mother substrate is provided. The second align key(220a) corresponding to the first align key and a transparent conductive pattern are formed on the second mother substrate. A sealing member(300) is formed around each cell of the first or second mother substrate. |
