The coffeemaker has a chamber (1) filled with water through an opening (2), where the water is heated with a heat source e.g. gas burner (4). A pipe (5) is connected from the chamber (1) to another chamber (6), where an opening (8) of the pipe is at lowest point of the chamber (1). The chamber (6) includes a central section (14) for filling ground coffee, where heated water flows into the chamber (14) through the pipe, and the pipe includes a valve (7). The maximum volume of water that can be incorporated into the chamber (1) is equal to the volume of a cup of coffee.
